The aim for Under Heaven’s Eyes is to premiere it at Edinburgh Fringe 2021 if next year’s festival goes ahead and then I would love to take
I wrote Under Heaven’s Eyes, to address the questions that arise from the death of George Floyd. His death shocked the World. It certainly shocked me and dominated my thoughts for weeks after it happened and left many of us asking how did this happen? Why is this still happening to Black men & Women and when is it going to stop? I just had to put the thoughts that were spinning around in my head down on paper. Having this happen while in lockdown because the flu Pandemic has made me reflect on how far mankind has come and how far we have yet to go.
I have worked as an actor for many years and hope to continue doing so. Writing is a hobby that I really enjoy. It was brilliant to write and perform my debut play ‘Dream of a King’ last year. I’m excited to live stream this new play. I’ve never live-streamed a performance before so I’m looking forward to it.
