Ed Fringe Fundraiser - EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION

by Emily Beecher in London, Greater London, United Kingdom

We did it
On 3rd August 2023 we successfully raised £5,265 with 116 supporters in 28 days

WE HAVE CHANGED THE PURPOSE OF THIS FUNDRAISER TO NOW FOCUS ON RAISING EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION COSTS FOR ONE OF OUR SHOWS.

by Emily Beecher in London, Greater London, United Kingdom

Whilst we are incredibly thankful for everything everyone has given so far to go towards our fundraiser we now must turn our attention to housing one of our shows due to the landlord of the arranged property failing to tell us the flat was un-livable.

Please give what you can, we will be eternally grateful.

Prev fundraiser description:

Hi,

We are Sophie Craig, Ashlee Elizabeth-Lolo and Emily Beecher - three women who have written three shows that are going to be performed at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year, all produced by The REcreate Agency. We are raising money to help pay for accommodation costs focusing on child care and accessibility.

We need to raise £5k and we are hopeful that through your support we can get there. Watch our video for more info or visit our website: recreate-agency.co.uk/fringe2023/

The shows are:

I Love You, Now What? - A brilliantly funny, heart-warming and raw debut play by actor and comedian Sophie Craig, examining a beautifully ugly story about grief and love's place within it. I Love You, Now What? opens a window into Ava and Theo's lives, following the diagnosis and loss of her father, causing her world to come tumbling down.

Blueprints - If you could know the entire history of your bloodline, and everything you’re passing on to your children, would you want to know? Adam and Faith do.
Welcome to the Blueprints programme, where we can protect you from the past because, after all, knowledge is power. Right?

Summer Camp For Broken People - a bold and brave manifesto about losing your mind and finding yourself.  This autobiographical one-woman show, based on the author's writings from her time as an inpatient at the Priory after a sexual assault, is an empowering memoir about how mental illness infects our lives and what it takes to fix a shattered spirit.
