Aim

We are students of the University of Bristol's A Cappella Society. We aim to put on an enjoyable show suitable for music lovers of all ages!

Who are we?

AcadePitch Productions are an a cappella supergroup from Bristol. The musical love-child of two of the University of Bristol's competitive A Cappella groups, Academy and Pitch Fight, have once again joined forces to bring joy to audiences across Edinburgh!

The Show:

Our sixth fringe run is our most ambitious yet, with more cast, more songs and more acting than we have ever attempted before.

Pirates of the ACA-ribbean

Adventuring the seven seas, Jolly Roger raised, was a pirate ship in search of a long lost artifact. The ship encountered an unknown beast, and none of its crew were ever seen again. Fifteen years later, one Pirate has made a name for herself as the most ruthless of the seven seas: Captain Jacqueline Crow.

Crow and her crew are searching for the artifact with her grandfather's map, all while the British Navy are hot on their tails. Led by the bumbling (and incompetent) Admiral Hook, the Navy have been in pursuit of Captain Crow for years. Will this be the time Hook finally catches her, or will the Pirates escape with the loot? Will the unknown beast thwart the Pirates' plan, or will Captain Crow get her revenge? Find out in our family-friendly comedy musical!

What are we raising for?

In particular, the marketing for our show certainly adds up and we would love to have your support in helping us achieve a successful fringe run!

  • Purchasing flyers.
  • Purchasing posters.
  • Purchasing advertisement spaces at fringe!

We have such high ambitions and strong visions which we would love a wide audience to enjoy and therefore would really appreciate your help!

All your financial donations will go towards the show, funding marketing/tech/our venue hire. We are super lucky to have such a supportive fan base and community, and really appreciate all your support.
