The literal definition of bang for your buck. Support my latest show Wherefore Art Thou, Woman-Hater? going to Edinburgh and Camden Fringe.
Donate to support my journey to the Edinburgh and Camden Fringe festival this year. If I reach my goal, I will be cutting a fringe for the festivals!
About the project:
Fringe theatre is an important part of the new work scene in the UK and has long been the domain of students and up and coming artists. But as time has gone on, it has become more competitive and less accessible to the likes of who Fringe theatre is really for - audiences and creatives alike. This is why a cast and crew of early career artists and cheap ticket prices (grab yours for as little as a fiver!) are so important to me as a producer, and are the exact things that your donations support. My work has always been to represent my community so I'm looking to my community to support my latest project: Wherefore Art Thou Woman-Hater? I know there are lots of causes and shows that are seeking your support, so I want to show the commitment goes both ways - by cutting a fringe!

About Me:
This will be my 1st time at the Camden Fringe, 2nd Edinburgh Fringe as a writer/producer and my 3rd as a performer. I founded Cumbrian production company Acting Speaks Louder when I was 17, because I wanted a place for me and like-minded young people to hone their craft in the real world to prepare for an ever changing industry. Having written and performed a short piece for the National Youth Theatre's Climate Cabaret in 2023, I decided I wanted to produce my own bigger creative project and set my sights on the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2024, Acting Speaks Louder debuted Disco, Baby? at Edinburgh Fringe (after a sold out premiere at our home venue) receiving an 'Outstanding' rating from the Fringe Review. This year, we are bringing a brand new show back to Edinburgh and breaking new ground at the Camden Fringe.

About the show:
Written anonymously and first staged in the Renaissance, Swetnam The Woman-Hater, is where the word misogyny comes from. Star-crossed lovers, swordfights and sexism in the 16th century – it has it all. But how could that possibly be relevant today? Come and judge for yourself...
