Support Pie Face Theatre in their Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut!

Outrageous mother-in-laws, cheeky f***kers, dear daughters and sex ponds. This can only mean one thing. You got that right! Mothers. A play based on the forums on Mumsnet - we meet 5 vastly contrasting women who go through the arduous comedic journey, that is being a mum.

Daisy started Pie Face Theatre at the age of 16 and has always had the ambition to go to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since her first production in 2016, the Pie Face team have been working to get their first show performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Pie Face Theatre presents its productions to our audience raw and truthfully, with the foundations of our work being rooted firmly in the core values we as human beings of the twenty first century embrace and celebrate.
For those who don't know what Mumsnet is, it's an amazing online forum where mother's can discuss a whole manner of topics! The writer Daisy Dot has based her characters, scripts and stories off the forums of Mumsnet.

Below are just some examples of what's discussed in the play...

Tribute to Sam Lloyd
Sam Lloyd is one of Daisy's favourite comedic actors. "Scrubs has been a huge influence on my work, inspired me to write comedies from an early age" - Daisy Dot. As a tribute to Sam Lloyd (who played Ted in Scrubs) he will be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe one last time - at the beginning of each performance the Cameo video he did will be played!
