‘Band of Sisters Theatre’ is a female-led company based in London made up of Ianthe Bathurst (Producer, Actor, Director), Thea Mayeux (Actor, Director) and Danielle James (Writer, Actor, Director). Our aim is to create unique, expressive and experimental work whilst supporting new and emerging female identifying artists.
Unfortunately we lost our funding for our new show Knives and Forks written by the incredible Danielle James. We are looking to raise some funds to help us make this electric ode to female friendship come to life. We have an amazingly talented team of 9 who are working crazy hours alongside their other work to bring this world to life. Your donation, no matter how big or small, could help pay for rehearsal space, set, costume, lighting design, posters and flyers, accomodation, travel and all the other fun things needed to create a play.

Iris and Thalia. Thalia and Iris. A flatshare. A secret. A friendship dancing on the edge of time. Everything moves different when you know it’s all coming apart.
From the company that brought you Bluewater ('a true original' ***** (BingeFringe.com), this electric ode to female friendship by Danielle James confronts us with a searing question: how do you grieve something you haven’t yet lost?
