I've Never Met Anyone Quite Like You Before: A new play by David Scotland: Edinburgh Fringe 2023: theSpace on the Mile: 21-26 August: 8.45PM

I’ve Never Met Anyone Quite Like You Before is the first play by David Scotland.

Originally from Stirling, David moved to London at the age of 18 to study Dance and Theatre Performance at Bird College. Since graduating he has been lucky enough to work in the West End, throughout the UK and abroad.

In 2022, David was selected as part of the Traverse Theatre’s Breakthrough Writers: Launchpad programme, the result of which was I’ve Never Met Anyone Quite Like You Before.

After a warmly received rehearsed reading at Golden Goose Theatre, Camberwell in January of this year, the play will debut as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023 at Space 1, theSpace on the Mile, playing from 21st-26th August.

We are SO EXCITED to be part of the Fringe 2023 but it is also a huge financial undertaking and WE NEED YOUR HELP!

2. SUPPORT OUR CROWDFUND PAGE

We are under no illusions about how incredibly competitive Edinburgh is. In fact, the average audience number for a Fringe performance is just 7 people. With this in mind, we can’t rely solely on ticket sales to cover our costs.

That’s where this Crowdfund page comes into play.

The fundraising target that we have set is BIG but encompasses our entire budgeted expenditure for our run at the Fringe.

By donating you would be helping to cover the costs of paying our actor, director and technical support, covering our travel costs, helping us to print flyers and posters and covering the hire cost of our amazing venue.

If we achieve our target, any income we do generate from ticket sales could be reinvested in a future life for the production which would be AMAZING.

Any donation you can make would be INCREDIBLE but there are also rewards available depending on the level of your contribution so please do have a look before donating!
