To perform at The Edinburgh Fringe and share the joy of jazz a cappella with a global audience!
We are The Oxford Gargoyles, a critically-acclaimed vocal ensemble formed principally of members of Oxford University. Since forming in 1998, our group has gone from strength to strength, and has won recognition both from the media, such as The Times, and from those in the music industry; King’s Singer Philip Lawson has said we are ‘jazz a-cappella as good as it gets.’ We live and breathe jazz music, we learn a mixture of our own arrangements and classics old and new, we are at the top of our game and we want to take our brand new show to the Edinburgh Fringe festival and share it with as many people as possible.
Accommodation in Edinburgh is more expensive than ever. We are putting on as many shows as possible and singing wherever we can to raise money, but we need all the help we can get! Any support you can offer to help us on our way would be so appreciated. Thank you!!!!
