I’m delighted to be selling tickets to the AJ Bell Fringe on a Friday digital cabaret.
Every ticket you buy really will make a big difference. With very little work on the horizon for freelance artists such as myself, your support will help me finance a show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2021

Lauren Pattison is a comedian, actor and writer. She was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 and her vast TV appearances include two episodes of Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC) and internationally on New Zealand’s 7 Days (TV3), Australia’s Comedy Up Late (ABC) and Canada’s The Stand-Up Show with Katherine Ryan (The Comedy Network Canada). As an actor her credits include Drunk History (Comedy Central), Jerk (BBC3) and Climaxed (BBC3).
On top of earning a Best Newcomer nomination, Lauren’s debut Edinburgh Fringe show earned her the prestigious Herald Angel Award and was the best-reviewed show at The Pleasance that year.
She has since performed internationally in Australia, New Zealand and India and at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival as part of the Brit(ish) lineup alongside Sara Pascoe, Joel Dommett, Ed Gamble and Nish Kumar.
Lauren can currently be heard hosting the critically acclaimed podcast Conversations Against Living Miserably produced by the TV channel Dave in partnership with CALM. Lauren previously co-hosted two series of weekly podcast Ed & Lauren for BBC Radio 1 and has appeared on BBC Radio 4 shows including Where’s The F In News, The Placebo Effect and Nasty Women.

This new digital show will showcase the festival across a range of genres, including comedy, cabaret, theatre and music. The show has been made possible thanks to the generous support of online investment platform AJ Bell. Produced and curated by Lucky Cat & Michael Fraser, and production company Inner Ear.
