'Four More Short Plays Loosely Linked by the Theme of Crime' is going to the Edinburgh Fringe, but we need your help.

by Charles Edward Pipe in London, Greater London, United Kingdom

Following the success of last year's show - Five Short Plays Loosely Linked by the Theme of Crime - Low Bar Theatre return to the Edinburgh Fringe with Four More Short Plays Loosely Linked by the Theme of Crime! This show has something for everyone; expect cowboys, forgery, suburban Macbeth, and the return of beloved gangster duo Ronnie and Johnny.

But we need your help. Like last year's show, this show is entirely self-funded at great financial risk to ourselves. Any money you can donate will go towards the marketing of the show, as well as more creative aspects of the show such as props, costumes, and rehearsal space.

Any further donations that can't be effectively utilised for marketing will be split between the various graphic designers, artists, and photographers who have kindly offered their services to us for free.

Critic reviews of last year's show:

'so fresh and so funny' - ★★★★★ The Edinburgh Reporter

'a consistently creative anthology that masterfully walks the tightrope between light and dark' - ★★★★ Theatre Weekly

'an inspiringly askew script by writer/director Charles Edward Pipe and a more-than-game cast sells the material for all it’s worth' - ★★★★ Lost in Theatreland

Audience reviews of last year's show:

'One of the best things I saw at the Fringe. Really well written. Very snappy dialogue. Very different settings & genres. Brilliantly well acted. Gripping throughout. Everything about it screamed class.'

'Very well acted by this group. Great idea having the five plays in an hour. One of the better shows we saw today at the fringe. It’s a safe bet for you especially if you like the short story form.'

'Bloody brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed this show, Charles Edward Pipe has written five hilarious plays and the three actors bringing it all together were excellent. My 13 year old came along with me, he wants to be an actor and for him to see such talented young people is inspirational. Thank you for a fab fringe experience.'
