We want to raise £1000 to take our show to Edinburgh Fringe this year!
Welcome to Stan Brown and Jacob Joseph Held's crowdfunder for their debut show Fear and Misery set to be performed on the legendary George Street in this year’s Edinburgh Fringe. Set designer Henry Anderson, composer James Pallister and sound designer Noah Grose are joining producer Stan and director Jacob to create a one-of-a-kind adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's Fear and Misery of the Third Reich.
Across seven playlets, audiences will be immersed in themes of betrayal, violence, bureaucracy and dictatorship. Ordinary people will struggle and fight against extraordinary pressures, creating an urgent and thought-provoking theatrical experience.
The 21st Century has seen a global rise in Right Wing ideology across the globe, it is clear that democracy is something that must be defended. This production hopes to do just that.
Starring Lily Grace Oliver, Stella Richings, Tass Zoe, and Yusuf Topcu, with production design by Henry Anderson, music by James Pallister, and sound design by Noah Grose, this project is packed with extraordinary talent.
We are seeking £1000 that will be used to support production costs and make the show the best it can possibly be; contributing to the set design, costumes and helping towards production costs such as public liability and licensing!
