Help us take our debut theatrical show to the Edinburgh Fringe - Drag Queens vs. Zombies - A dead fabulous comedy horror!
Hiya luv! We are a comedy drag collective originating in York, who started our fabulous creative endeavours with the cult cabaret/club night Lip Sync Lollapalooza. We're made up of drag acts, writers, film-makers, artists, all with an aim of creating drag-infused events and productions with a distinctly Northern flavour (that flavour is Bovril).

Drag Queens vs. Zombies is our brand new theatrical venture, a comedy horror about a pandemic (not that one). Written by award-winning writers Eleanor Mason and Matt Stallworthy, and featuring Haus of Dench drag stars Kate Butch and Crudi Dench, the show tells the tale of Kate and Crudi's strained friendship as they attempt to put on a star-studded cabaret night to revitalise their careers. But backstage bust ups become the least of their worries when zombies invade the theatre! Using their unique skills the feuding pair must mend their friendship and save their audience from a gruesome fate!

“Hilarious, and at times heartwarming” ★★★★ - Fairy Powered Productions
After successful runs at the York Theatre Royal, Pleasance (Islington) and King's Head Theatre (Islington) we are confident that Drag Queens vs. Zombies will be a monster hit at the world's largest arts festival! Going to Edinburgh will give us the opportunity to further develop the show for potential touring opportunities and allow us to be seen by leading arts professionals who can help us take the production to the next level. We're thrilled to be performing at Gilded Balloon, one of the "Big Four" venues in Edinburgh.
We're a small company competing with some big players in Edinburgh (with much larger budgets) and although we have managed to raise most of our funds via previous productions and shows, we need your support to raise that last little bit to ensure our show makes it up and is a success at the Fringe!
