Theatre company aiming to bring our show GANNET (dark comedy about a bird getting a corporate job) & our sell-out Cabaret show 2 Fringe 2027

Welcome to our crowdfunder page! 

We are Daisy Day (writer/ performer) and Peggy Pollard (writer/ director) who took our show GANNET to Ed Fringe 2026 (**** in Scotsman) and are hoping to return again in 2027 with a longer run! We also plan to take our sell-out London cabaret show (hosted by the iconic Miss Flaps)- with the aim of connecting with other artists and audiences from outside of London! 

What we achieved last year at Fringe:

• Got 4*s from the Scotsman, 'a chaotic masterclass in multi-rolling'
• Amazing audience reviews (e.g. 'hands down my favourite show at fringe', 'a fringe hidden gem')
• Met loads of new audiences and connected with other amazing artists! 

And we only went for a week! We'd love to go longer and build on what we achieved via a longer run, to connect with more lovely audiences and artists. Specifically we want to reach more dark comedy loving audiences and bird enthusiasts (and by that we mean the ornithological variety)... 

Little bit more about the show:

GANNET is a dark comedy about one unassuming bird’s rise to the top of the corporate world. Its an absurdly comic exploration of modern-day greed, and involves one performer (Daisy) playing over 20 different characters...
