Cadenza, Cambridge University's premier mixed a cappella ensemble, are raising funds to support our 2022 Edinburgh Fringe tour!
We are Cadenza, Cambridge University's premier mixed a cappella ensemble! Comprising of 13 exceptional singers and 1 stellar beatboxer, Cadenza are looking forward to bringing our original classy arrangements of your favourite pop and jazz hits to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. Having performed at the Fringe in previous years with 5* reviews, and succeeding in international a cappella competitions, we can't wait to bring our show to Edinburgh this summer in 2022!
Throughout the pandemic, like many other musical artists, unfortunately, Cadenza have been unable to perform in our usual schedule to raise usual funds for our tour. After virtual rehearsals and online performances, we are more motivated than ever to perform LIVE at the Fringe this summer following a hiatus - but we need your help!
We are working hard to make our shows incredible - think original, Cadenza-composed arrangements, exceptional harmonising, and choreography that inspires you to get off your feet! However, for these performances to take place, we face some hefty costs including venue hire, accommodation, insurance, publicity and tech hire. While we are performing as much as we can to raise funds by ourselves, we also need donations to make our shows a reality.
We would be hugely grateful for any donation you might be able to give, and promise an exceptional, unforgettable set of shows in return! We are committed to removing as much cost as possible to Cadenza members so that every member of the group can take part in this incredible performance opportunity, regardless of their financial position.
We cannot wait to perform to you at the Edinburgh Fringe and would be so grateful if you could help us get there!
