We are bringing our show "After 4 am" to the Edinburgh Fringe to spread awareness about SA in the bartending industry, but we need your help
"After 4 am" is the debut original play, based on true events, by up-and-coming Australian playwright Meg Ronoastro. This show has flair, drama, comedy, physical theatre, and, for those lucky enough, a free shot.
Thea is freshly 18 and eager to work as a bartender at her local nightclub. Nike is the head bartender with dreams of spreading her wings and seeing the world, but is burdened with responsibility and financial troubles. Dion, the general manager of the venue, has his eyes set on Thea, while Lachie, a fellow bartender, is a romantic after Nike's heart. After 4am peeks behind closed doors into the struggles and dangers of the nightclub scene through four coworkers trying to close the bar at the end of each shift.
TW: Sexual Assault.
It is a bucket list dream to be able to put our show on at the Edinburgh Fringe, and we are making this dream come true! We are performing our show for 6 nights, from the 10th - 15th of August. Check out our page here . We also have the amazing opportunity to perform at the Manchester Fringe from the 27th - 29th of July.
It is an incredible opportunity to share our story.
However, due to the fact that this is a self-funded show, the costs mount up quickly. From paying for the registration fee, rehearsal space, accommodation, hiring an intimacy coordinator, venue hire, marketing, props. The list is long, which is why we really need your help.
Donating anything, big or small, helps our show. And if you're not in a spot where you can donate, sharing this page to your friends and family helps just as much.
I feel so incredibly lucky to be working with these amazing people. It is an honour to work with my amazing team of people who feel just as passionate about this challenging topic. This project is being co-directed by myself, Meg Ronoastro, and Australian actress Grace Mezak.

Your donation will help with:
