Aim

My show has been selected the Edinburgh Fringe and I am trying to raise the rest of my production costs

Hey, I'm Hunter King, writer, performer and activist. Some of you may know me as Wolfy - The King of Canal Street, the touring drag cabaret artist. For over a decade I have been working as a performer travelling the UK and the world to different venues and events bringing fun, camp, sing-a-longs spreading trans hope and joy to whoever will listen. I have always been a proud activist, travelling prides, festivals and working with local charity groups to help my local queer community. I founded Canal Street Kings an organisation that provides a safe, accessible space for marginalised queer people in Manchester's Gay Village to showcase drag king excellence. I have recently started writing musical theatre, hoping to take my message to a larger audience and make thought provoking work, that you can still have a laugh to. My debut musical 'A Northern Tr*nny Hootenanny' will be premiering at Waterside Arts in Manchester this May and have the opportunity to perform at the legendary Edinburgh Fringe Festival! I have been lucky enough to receive the Keep it Fringe fund which helps alleviate some of the costs but I will still need around 1500 just to cover the production costs alone. The venues are more expensive that ever and I need 1100 to cover the rest of the venue cost, with the remaining 400 to pay for a poster and flyers. If you can afford to give anything please help, I can't do it without you <3
