We are a new Comedy group made up of 5 members from Working-Class backgrounds, bringing our debut shows to this year's Edinburgh Fringe.

Founded in 2022, Glass Crumpet is a Comedy Group with the ethos of bringing comedy to the Working-Class. With all of our members hailing from this background, Glass Crumpet regularly perform in Manchester and Salford, producing Free/Pay What You Can shows that people can enjoy regardless of income - something that is sorely needed in the world right now.

After members Will Rice, Tom Roberts and James Tangye made their Edinburgh Debut last year with SalFunni, they teamed up with producers Justin Glenister and Elena Courtney to take up two Brand New shows to this year's Laughing Horse Free Festival.

To help raise money for the Fringe, the members of Glass Crumpet will be climbing Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) on the 27th of June. Any support that you can give will help us to pay for accomodation and marketing, and ensure that we can get the most out of our experience, and continue to work hard to make our dream of making comedy come true.
